The Turning Year Woven Blanket — Throw 50x60
100% cotton · soft for little skin, made to be handed down — not thrown away.
Some things you keep for the year they belong to. This is one of them.
The whole turning year is gathered into one cloth — the acorn and maple leaf of autumn, cotton blossom and wildflowers for the long light of summer, a crescent moon and a single star for the deep of winter, a small wreath and a bow for the days in between. They're scattered the way a child lays out a season's findings on the windowsill: no two alike, every one worth keeping. In one corner, a small signature, the way you'd sign a thing you meant to last.
It's woven, not printed. The pattern lives in the cloth itself — 100% cotton, the same soft design carried through to the back, so there's no right or wrong side. It comes off the loom already feeling like it's been in the family a while, and only softens from there, one wash at a time. Made for the reading chair, the pram, the foot of the bed a child climbs into — and, in time, the kind of thing that gets handed down.
Colors: deep Aubergine, warm Bronze, soft Cranberry, and natural Oatmeal.
Sizes: Lap (52×37") for first blankets and the car seat, Throw (50×60") for the couch, and Bed (60×80") for the whole bed.
Care: 100% cotton. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. It only gets softer.
Made for little moments. Kept for years.
